Well today was a very eventful day, but unlike yesterday it was full of all fun! The day started at half past seven when the boys decided to wake me up with hugs and kisses and lots of 'I love yous' before a quick breakfast of toast and tea. We read books and practiced spelling words before heading out to Guildford so we could see the town. The drive was not that far and we got out and walked around. We are going to set up a local bank account and also I got a new sim card for a cell phone so that I can use it in emergencies.
We went to a cafe for elevensies which is their snack at 11 and had some tea. The boys had crisps and lemonade. We then went to the rec center where they have a lot of swimming as well as ice skating and lots of activities. They just got a basketball team but the boys don't understand basketball because they have never played.
After that I drove home! I have a really nice Volvo that is safe and easy to drive and I drove it home from the rec center. I was not really worried and it felt pretty normal actually and the boys said I did a great job! When I got home we ate lunch and then went on a walk to the village center of Seale where we actually live. It was a really nice walk and we went to the Crafty Cow and got some crafts and then came home. Henry got stuff to make animals out of cotton balls and wires and Theo got some hearts and picture frame cutouts of paper and made me some beautiful pictures.
We then went and played outside and helped Pernille rake the dirt where we are getting grass tomorrow and then the boys showed me all their favorite climbing trees in the back as well as some good rabbit holes. After doing this for a long while, we came back up to play some futbol before dinner and Pernille joined us! We then ate dinner and Henry got a bit fussy. Theo finished first and decided to take a shower and bless us with his beautiful singing voice the whole time at the top of his lungs. Henry took a bath but then got mad when we had to put on cream on his scrapes and decided it was time for him to go to bed. He brushed his teeth, drew his curtains and tucked himself in. Theo and I watched a cute movie about a cartoon dog and his owner who turns into a bunny. It was very clever as Theo would say. After the movie it was nearly 8pm and past his bedtime!
After he went to bed I came downstairs to my area to catch up my blog and talk a bit. I figured out I can talk with voices over AIM and typing over Google mail.
Thanks to dad for helping me figure out all my stuff after yesterday's fiasco with the stolen wallet!!
It has been fun talking with the boys because we use different words for things. Today they asked me what planet I was from and I had to explain to them the difference between a planet, continent, country and state. I don't think they quite understand because later they asked what planet my boyfriend lives on! We also had a talk when Henry said he had to wee and asked me what it is called in my country. When I told him we call it pee, he almost fell out of a tree! He asked me if I said pee, like an eating pea and I told him yes. I do believe he thinks we are crazy!
Well it is getting late and I am very tired from a full day. Tomorrow is also full because the boys are on a break from school and are home all day. I will write more tomorrow! Good night :)
